How to Pamper Yourself with a Luxury Bathrobe
There is almost nothing better than coming home after a stressful days work, taking a long hot (bubble?) bath then slipping into an elegant plush bathrobe. When you feel like relaxing and pampering yourself, a luxury bathrobe is the ideal indulgence. Curl up on the couch with a glass of wine and a book, or your favorite TV show – Heaven!
This bathrobe has to be special to make you feel like a queen being pampered by servants. The ‘I-bought-it-on-sale-at-xxxx’ will not work! Neither will the ‘I’ve-had-it-since-I-was 16-and-it’s-comfortable’ bathrobe. This is a robe that you will only wear when you want (need) to be pampered. Your luxury bathrobe serves no other purpose or functionality than to make you feel wonderfully pampered, surrounded in riches.
To purchase this type of luxury you need to visit bathrobe specialty stores. Feel the fabrics, try it on and feel it next to your skin (this is mandatory). The material should feel like nothing you have ever owned on your skin. Try on robes made from several different fabrics. There is no ‘magic’ material that makes every one feel special. You may feel like a queen in silk, another person may feel the same way with Turkish terry cloth. The choice is yours alone. The fit of the bathrobe is also your choice; some people prefer a perfect fit, others want to feel engulfed. Don’t go too large though, as the arm length may be cumbersome. You may have to visit more than one specialty shop to find the perfect robe. Luxury robes do not come in ‘1 size fits all’.
Plan on spending around $150.00 for a luxury robe. (The price alone should make you feel pampered!) Suggestion to save you money: while you are visiting the specialty shops, write down the size, type of material, the manufacturer and any other little things that you may want in your robe. Go home and get on the Internet, either search for the brand name of the robe you want, or search ‘luxury bathrobes’. The On line stores are always having sales. You will more than likely find the exact same robe you want online for $90 to $100.00.
